While Lori's credentials are impressive, it is the enduring values that are reflected in her commitment to provide clients with peace of mind and a sense of control over their financial futures, which is the foundation of her work and life.
Graduating from Queens University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in 1991, and a double major in Psychology and Sociology, Lori attained her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2003. Her qualifications also include her being licensed as a Life Insurance and Mutual Funds professional since 1998.
It is this balanced diversity of academic excellence and practical experience that enables Lori to truly understand the challenges her clients face in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.
What this means is that Lori is a strong advocate for building portfolios for clients that are focused on maximizing returns while limiting risk. In short, she believes that educating her clients on a long term approach to investing and creating well balanced, diversified portfolios, will achieve the best possible results. This includes helping clients to better understand and manage debt.
Prior to entering the financial world, Lori derived a great deal of personal satisfaction from working with developmentally delayed adults. Helping them to market their skills so that they would be able to enter the job market with confidence, the satisfaction her clients gained from being able to make a positive contribution to society was its own reward.
Lori is also a published author of short stories, and genealogy enthusiast, which has enabled her to trace her family roots back to the 1600's.
"When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world." - George Washington Carver
